Education & Training

  • Starting Up: If your company is new to export, or considering new export markets and requires guidance and information as you develop and expand, trade specialists in the US Export Assistance Center can provide advice and counseling to help determine the best course of action.

Financing

USEAC is your local representative of the U.S. Department of Commerce international trade activities, including the U.S. Commercial Service and International Trade Administration. They provide direct assistance to small businesses in the areas of export financing, including information on international methods of payment, comparisons of payment options, risk assessment and export credit insurance programs, deal structuring, export loan programs and loan packaging assistance for SBA Export Working Capital Program applications.

Market Access & Expansion

  • Matchmakers/Partners: USEAC is your local representative of the U.S. Department of Commerce international trade activities, including the U.S. Commercial Service and International Trade Administration. Through their Gold Key/Silver Key program, an expert experienced in your target country will arrange appointments for you with pre-screened contacts whose interests and objectives match your own. They can also do an Internatonal Partner Search writing a report on up to five qualified overseas contacts who have expressed an interest in the company's products, services, or licenses. They also prepare Enhanced International Company Profiles--a detailed report on an overseas company.
  • Targeted Marketing: USEAC is your local representative of the U.S. Department of Commerce international trade activities, including the U.S. Commercial Service and International Trade Administration. USEAC can provide your company with the market research needed to target the appropriate market(s) for your products and develop a marketing plan once those markets are identified. In addition to existing off-the-shelf research, they can also prepare a tailored analysis of the market for your product.

Promotion, Outreach & Advocacy

  • Trade Missions: USEAC is your local representative of the U.S. Department of Commerce international trade activities, including the U.S. Commercial Service and International Trade Administration. They can connect you to federal trade missions. On these missions, companies travel together as a delegation where they attend market briefings, participate in site visits and networking receptions, and have one-on-one business matchmaking appointments with pre-screened potential buyers, agents, distributors, and joint venture partners.
